Contactless

Solo exhibition at Albertz Benda, New York (2020). The show had been prepared with manipulable works, meant to be touched; with the pandemic no one could touch anything — gloves in the way — hence the title “Contactless”. In response, the microsite contactless.felipepantone.com was launched, built with three.js, to manipulate the pieces from the screen; some works carried a QR code that, when scanned, let them be operated from the phone without touching them. Felipe could not travel to the opening, so it was also inaugurated in VRChat: the space was recreated and people joined online.
