Form

A section: a vertical cut through 28 years. Additive surface (RGB, screen, present); subtractive descent (CMY, pigment, past). The metaphor is the artist's own: «la información es tubular… como los anillos del tronco de un árbol o como los muros repintados de nuestras ciudades» (Praesentia, 2020).

Materials

Next.js 16, React 19, Tailwind 4, typefaces Century Schoolbook and Helvetica — the two families of the PRAESENTIA book. Palette: the FP signature — violet, magenta, orange, yellow, cyans and blues. No green, by house rule. The data is the studio's real registry: 8,412 works as of today.

Why there is no green

Green is not missing on a whim; it is missing by choice. A chromatic aberration is what happens when color comes apart at the edges of an image. There are several ways to provoke one. One separates magenta from green, and that's it. His is another: it separates the warm colors —yellow → orange → red → purple— to one side, and the cool ones —cyan → blue → violet— to the other, around black and white. From that decomposition comes, exactly, his palette. That is why there is no green here: it is not a decorating preference, it is what remains when he decides to decompose light his own way.

Anonymity

There are no portraits here. The identity is the work, the voice, the archive and the world — as on the walls, the signature does the face's job.

Pantone, the brand

He began signing Pantone without knowing the brand existed — he was very young. Years later he opened Instagram and saw it said follow back; Felipe followed them back. That is all he knows about them, but he uses their color charts in his work.as told by Felipe, July 5, 2026

Against the feed

Honesty

The only thing fabricated here is what real intention goes into. There is no intuition: there is reasoning, elaboration and artifice. And that is precisely what art is — not an impulse fallen from the sky, but a decision thought through, built and sustained. What is not verified is marked as such; what is handmade is acknowledged as handmade.
